Charlotte is a second year medical student, studying at the University of Manchester. I have always had a passion for sciences, particularly at A level, when I would participate in various projects, including the chemistry Olympiad!
My hobbies include hockey and ballet, but I also like to dabble in playing the piano when I get the chance to be back at home.
When it comes to medicine, my interest areas are oncology and neuroscience, and I have spent the summer after my first year, interning in a laboratory working on “Investigating progression of cerebral folate status in living patients suffering Alzheimer’s and other dementias”.
